1995 Ford Super Duty 4x4
Engine 85-2 was purchased by South Fork Borough and the Department for support of fire operations in the community in 1995. The apparatus started out as a two wheel drive Ford Super Duty. Now, today this Super Duty has doubled its load with the addition of four wheel drive in the mid 90's and the addition of a hale 500 gpm pump and 4 Guys body. It is able perform many tasks that any engine twice its size can do. In the winter months when large amounts of snow affects the current weather condition for emergency alarms. Engine 85-2 becomes the first due engine to replace 85-1. Thou it is small and has a limited crew capacity this engine has surpassed all expectations and now has the power and the tools to out power many vehicles in its class. Recently, Engine 85-2 was voted first place at the 38th Annual Southmont Jubilee as "Best Appearing and Equipped Engine 750GPM and Under."
